Just as I am returning from my down-under independent consulting gig I noticed that my incorporating article was referenced in the Working Solo Australian blog. I found it a nice coincidence!For as much joy as I am having now that I returned home I will have to do several administration tasks before finalizing this gig. I have to:

  • Set up a business bank account for the LLC I incorporated. (With international wire capabilities).
  • Invoice for services and expenses.
  • Set up a SEP-IRA (Individual Retirement Account for Self Employed)
  • Estimated federal and local tax payments.
  • Social Security and Medicare payments.
  • Self Employment Tax payments (the employer portion of Social Security Tax and Medicare).
  • Lots of Bookkeeping.

For as much as setting up a corporation overnight and getting the paperwork in place, that will be nothing compared to the administration overhead that I will complete in next few weeks. It will sure be interesting, and I will sure share my experiences with you.
