Because in India, currently 7% people use internet. But it will reach to 40% mark within the next 3 years. This revolution will not come only holding the hands of Metro cities, but these second & third grade Indian cities. Small cities are now the majority in India in numbers. The number of internet users in smaller cities has crossed the number of net users in Metro cities already. Currently the small cities have 60% share of internet users in India. To hold up this tremendous market, the main strategy should be providing services in their regional languages, which the business giants have understood already.
Regional languages will surely boost up net using as because the things we talk with are like smaller issues in life, we think & we talk in our own languages. So while using English for staffs like cooking recipes or simply PNPC, we face problems while typing them.

Microsoft also walking on the same path as others does. Four years back bhashaindia.com has 50,000 users while now it has crossed to 1,00,000 mark. Nokia has already in the market by providing local language support for its users. Today’s generation is using internet by using their mobile devices for social networking, news headlines or downloading music on the go rather than using desktop or laptop. For this, a different kind of demand for contents is generating. Expecting this already, yahoo India has tied up with 5 major regional newspapers in India. M.D of yahoo India Mr. Prem Panikkar has opined in coming 5 years, there will be an increase of 2 Crore internet users in India with which there will be a proportionate increase of regional contents as well. Estimating this, the net giants are taking steps in order to capture the market.
